Our birds and personnel!

We use Barn owls, Eagle owls, Harris hawks and Falcons as outlined, with all birds captive bred, specially bred and selected for their placid temperament from a process of selecting the right parentage. We firmly believe that good parents make good off spring and well bred birds helps when we train them for the task they are chosen for.

We will train each bird for a specific task and that bird is then trained for that task. So we have birds for indoor and out door activities and for each category of special needs, be it disability or learning needs of participants. Although we train each bird for a specific task we fly birds at general daily exercise as and when required.

Once selected, each bird is then put through an initial training period once we have trained each bird through its general training, all birds are then entered in to a period of ongoing strict and patient schedule for up to two and a half years, during which time all birds are then introduced in to our activities.

All personnel work as one in a team within the organization, working hands on for the benefit of helping those less fortunate, birds of prey and the objectives for which the overall organization was set up.

Main personnel who have many years experience within their chosen fields backed up be a network of like minded people who we can call on to help out as and when needed, we also have people who just want to lend a hand and do something. No personnel are paid a salary for their contribution to the organization, having their chosen independent careers away from the organization and birds of prey.

We can cater for any individual and or establishment with a choice on offer. So, if for example a disabled person wishes to learn how to fly and work with falcons hands on they can, if child from an Inner-city area wants to learn about and how to fly Eagle owls they can do this and for whatever reason a bird comes to us needing help our specialist skills can be put in to action. There are no limitation to what can be done with us.
