New facilities for the future!

Although we just about operate effectively as we do in our present format, it can be a hindrance at the best of times, especially when it comes to implementing any new and or any ambitious plans we may have. So we do really need new facilities now, we are more diverse an organization from when wings of freedom was just an idea.

With any forward think organization looking to expand our work and improve opportunity to others then we have to look to the future. We would like to open up our work so others can see our unique techniques in action and our present situation just does not allow us to do so.

So as to remedy the many problems we have we have now implemented the next phase of our plans, that is to build a new home at near the village of Uffington in the county of Oxfordsire, operating as an organization both on site and off, therefore expanding all the many areas of our work.

Having now received help in the form of a land lease option from a kind individual we are hoping to commence work as soon as possible, at present we are having planning difficulties. Once planning is secure we would hope to complete our work within two years.

If planning is not forth coming then we will have to find an alternative site. As we can not afford to wait much longer so we have set a period of six month, an extended period which we have set.

Although we have set an extended period we are now looking for a second location, if anyone out there may be able to help us with an offer of derelict facilities or offers of a joint partnership agreement then please contact us A.S.A.P., when we will be eternally grateful and are open to all offers.

Having new facilities will mean we can offer opportunity to more people with disability and special needs. We will be able centralize all our operations under one umbrella, add a new dimension to wings of freedom and enable you and others to view our unique work as a visitor center.

Additionally we will be able to expand further our rescue and rehabilitation, helping more owls and other birds of prey and in general undertake more of our unique work.

Our new center will offer opportunity in on site workshops and education and build state of the art facilities for both birds in residence and the visiting public, with our aim to establish our facility as world class, just as we have done in the many fields we operate.

As part of our future plans, we will be offering bird of prey ownership to anyone looking to own a bird of prey or an owl to fly in their leisure times, but do not have the facilities to do so. Just like owning a racehorse in training we will care, train and home owners birds with all fees generated from this area of our center being used to fund our charitable work within wings of freedom.
